Happy 2010!

First i did some fan art for a friend for an art swap ( she made me a plushie Spider-man ) and i drew her favorite character from X-Men called Goblin Queen ( a clone of Jean Grey called Madelyne Pryor ) anyway i drew a few different takes using marker and ink.

I also drew the Cable ( Goblin Queen's son with Scott Summers AKA Cyclops of the X-men ) but i couldn't fit it into one scan.

Lastly some Batman Begins fan art, Scarecrow and Batman himself.

So a big Happy New Year for everyone out there! look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with this year!

Cheers~

Holiday sketches

First off i'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! i'll also put up a more christmas theme post soon :)

I did a sketch of J.Jonah Jameson from Spiderman ( i used reference for him...a bit of a mix of many different takes )

A bald monk....i don't think i draw many bald characters, and lastly a business man of sorts

Cheers~

Chef - concept and color

Something a little different in the fact that i'm showing some fast thumbnails and sketches of a character i was messing around with, this is sort of for my dad ( he's a chef ) and my mom has mentioned it does look lik him except the hair ( and he's taller haha )

anyway from rough to color!

Cheers~

more sketches

Just wanted to add some more sketches that i had scanned in recently.

Been a bit busy so i haven't had time to just sit down and draw much for myself these days....

Cheers~

whole whack of drawings

Hey Everyone,

So i just thought i'd upload a whole bunch of sketches at once, i used more of that paper from last time that i mentioned for some of these drawings like the ninja turtle and Jim Gordon ( Batman )

I also have one more Arnie drawing with Morgan Freeman and some other characters from the Batman movie ( batman begins ) i also drew Carrot Top above ( but not so creepy, like in real life ) I did use photo reference for the actors themselves.

Colors are done with markers ( copics and Tria's ) and a brush pen ( faber castell brush pen )

Cheers~

Newer sketches

Just some new sketches, i've tried out some new paper which i got from work..it's sort of a cardboard type paper and it's great for markers and ink which is what i used on all the pieces except the two guys.

Been trying out using brush pen and i'm loving it! i use a Faber Castell Brush pen.

Cheers~

Sketches and doodles

So i'm not sure if you can tell but i tried to caricature Arnold Schwarzenegger in some drawings, me and a friend have had a long running thing to try and draw him...he owns tons of Arnie's movies and i love watching some of them.

Other posts here are some sketches and one is a character sketch for someone since they asked me a while back.

That's all for now

Cheers~

More stuff!

Just a bit more of some sketches recently.

Recent Sketches

Some recent sketches and studies i did, just something to keep the juices flowing and the pencil moving as i haven't been drawing as much as i should be ( more planning then sketching these days )

On a totally different note, i suggest to people who haven't seen it to check out the Mr. Bean animated TV series! it's excellent! i was very surprised to learn it was animated in Budapest, Hungary ( where i'm from! )

Cheers~

DC fan art post!

So i haven't posted in a bit and this isn't even original work but rather fan art...i've been watching the original Batman : TAS lately and also played Arkham Ayslem a bit so i got some batman fever!

The greenlatern girl is my own original character based on a Bruce Timm-ish style. I started to read into the newest series from GL which i hardly do called "Blackest Night" and it's amazing! although one can't go wrong with a writer like Geoff John's doing it.

loose doodles

comic panels and sketches

First off i have a bit of a sneak peek at the comic i've been working on! i have to say it's quite different working on that type of paper and also just drawing inside a box...sometimes it feels like your trapped within the small space and it's tricky to draw sometimes, anyway overall i'm pleased that i finished it and this is a small sample.

below that is just some doodles and a mall sketch trip scan

cheers~
