Lady, rough and inked

Hey everyone,

Been a while again for updates, i've been working on some stuff on my own so i guess that's taken some of my time up.

For this woman i used some live photo reference to get a better feel for pose, structure and even a bit of clothing ( push and pulls ) after i inked it for some practice as well ( although i have to get used to the crow quill and metal tip ink brushes )

Anyway i'm off to florida for a while so i won't be getting back to anyone for a bit

Comic update

Wow i haven't been on here for quite some time, i've been busy with my own personal work and sketching, i'm also taking some time to enjoy the weather ( whenever it's nice ) 

So a little update is that i finished pencils for the comic issue i was working on, it's for sure something different then i've done before but i think i grew out of it for sure.

These are some sketches and early concept designs for the main characters of the series, the only thing not related in here is the sketches of the woman with the paper and the faces

I also threw in a BG i had started to Ink, this is pretty much what the BG's inside the comic are going to look like ( at least some panels ) and the ink was a test to see how it would look

I'll keep everyone posted on the comic status

Agent West - color ( not final )

Color version of my Agent West sketch, i had intended for her to be a dirty blonde haired white woman but at the last minute i thought changing up the race would make it a bit more interesting

East Meets West : Agent West

It's been a while since an update, i'm a bit sunburned since last weekend so it's rather tricky to draw and the recent hot weather isn't the most comfortable to work in :)

Anyway i managed to finish this rough for Agent West before my sunburn, colors will happen as soon as i can move my arms in a more comfy manner.

I tried to design her in a sort of pseudo 60's kinda deal ( the gloves and boots ) but i liked her to look classy so i gave her a slit leg dress

East Meets West : Agent East

More of an update for my movie poster idea, i did a rough sketch of the asian agent and then i went ahead and colored inside flash since i want a certain color style for this.

I looked at some bruce lee/ ninja/ jackie chan type movies to get an idea and for reference, as you can see i went with more of a bruce lee look but i made him older because you don't see many buff older kung fu dudes

Fake Movie poster WIP and sketches

So some sketches i did today and a little project if you would which is a fake movie poster, my idea is a movie called " East meets West" about a ninja/kung fu agent from asia who meets a beautiful and sexy female agent from the West who together are going to fight some evil dude, i know it sounds lame but i wanted to go ala james bond but i didn't want to be too cliche so i did this instead, below is my thumbnail and some sketches for the female character.

WIP controller drawings

So i had a close friend of mine ask me and some other friends of ours to do some custom artwork for an arcade game controller stick he is getting.

He's a bit of  a Marvel fan hence the Wolverine and Deadpool sketches and drawings below, he wanted to have those two characters and perhaps a third doing something so i whipped up some thumbnails that would cover his whole controller, he asked to have it Black and White ( Inked with a bit of shading ) and have it action packed.

So i guess it's a good thing i've been doing lots of fan arts lately, so here you can see my takes, of course i used reference and for some of it i relied on it more as my friend wanted something more like the comics ( he's a picky bum lol ) 

Nothing is final and just WIP for now, it might now even happen as he's still thinking of what he wants and how but i thought i'd post some work.

I won't be updating too soon since i've had a cold since last week too

Wonder Woman and guys

Some fan art of Wonder Woman, i haven't drawn any ladies in a while, i also like how manly i drew her hands in the one picture :P

Batman Beyond sketches and some Girls

The Batman Beyond sketches are not original works, i did use reference (  google and the film itself ) for them and tried to keep them in the same style as the movie and TV series

I did them for fun

The sketches of the girls are original and my own designs, i just sketched one and played around with hair and color designs

All color is done with Copic Markers and Ink, Pencil on Newsprint paper

Mall Sketches and Pad Doodles

This is a combo of Sketches from my solo trips to the mall and some i did at home.

Masked Luchador piece WIP

I was thinking of doing a piece with my Masked Luchador character from a while back, so i drew the thumbnail showed here ( i did more as well but i liked this one ) his pose i looked at some WWF and TNA type shows and images on google and youtube untill i found a pose close enough to the one i used here.

I then blew up ( printed bigger ) my thumbnail and threw on some muscles and detail and fixed the pose a bit, i inked the drawing and then colored it using Copics markers.

Now i just have to complete the BG and the other character

Oh and i posted a totally different drawing as well from my sketch pad, colors are copics

Just this one piece to post for now, these are my own original characters i sketched up while listening to Real time with Bill Maher on itunes the other day, they aren't suppose to look like anyone really i was just going by voices i was listening to.

my take on DC comics flash, his foot is a bit cropped since the image was a little too big but i wanted to try a cartoony take on him

and finally a batman drawn in a jim lee style ( i used brown because i was tired of using my other limited colors, doesn't he look a bit like nightowl from watchmen? )
