Bg and Character

A clean up from the rough drawing of the BG i had in the post below, i threw some colors on and finally drew in that character and quickly colored him as well.

I tried to convey the angle as if the camera was just below him as he's running/jumping above

Yeh, contract... haha. Who knows.. it seems neverending...its actually a fulltime contract, but I have said I am leaving in the next couple of months. I reckon Ill have left my job by end of May. Next gig? I think its time to jump into the deepend of freelancing! woo!

I dunno it seems to me that his feet should be bigger, assuming that they're closer to the camera than his body. That will help sell the dramatic angle. (his left foot at least)

I'm doing some storyboarding at the moment... I was wondering how you found story boarding vs doing your own art... is it frustrating for you not putting in all the detail to make each frame 'pretty and detailed'?.. or it is a different mind set and the goal is just to tell 'the story'.
