quick cloud

Some more practice with a more wet/soft brush feel to it, i did this one pretty quick to the sol and kaneda i did before, and for those who might not know this is "old school" cloud from final fantasy VII.
more to come!

The first two drawings are of a character i've been working with for so long, its been nearly 3 years that i've been developing this character in my mind for a story i hope to do someday, although the character hasn't changed much in hair style, the face seems to change, i wanted to bring a sort of old world knowledge mixed with the strain and hardships of life on this character, hopefully the drawing conveys what i'm thinking.
The buck toothed guy is going to be part of a drawing series i also have in mind, England VS france! i'm going to do more of both the english and french sides with cartoony madness.
enjoy~

how i work....?

I thought i migh give a little insight into how i sometimes make my character designs ( by no means am i trying to be cocky or anything, its not like i'm a pro or something) for example the 2 faces on the side are probably the most common way i start to draw any character, for some reason i like to have a face in mind when drawing any character, above you can see 3 mini knight type characters, the one on the top left was the first one i did, i then did the guy in blue and cleaned and fixed to make it into the brown one.
i wasn't happy with the loose drawing in blue so i tighted as best i could to have a fairly happy result.
hopefully this might give some people an idea of how i tend to work, its probably not the best method or anything and sometimes i won't have a character i like, but then its time to DRAW DRAW DRAW!
cheers~

Kaneda from AKIRA

One of my fav anime movies of all time, i can't begin to explain how great this movie is, although the story in the manga version is the bomb the movie had some of the best animation i've seen.
I used to like anime quite a bit a few years ago, but mostly due to all the recent anime sucking...well i just lost interest, i liked the stuff from the mid 90's better, i found it had way more styles of humour and more styles in general, i mean i like some new stuff such as naruto, one-piece and full metal alchemist but one of those come around every so often.
anyway kaneda isn't done, i'm still working on it in Photoshop, i'll post the finshed version when i'm done!
enjoy~
