Hey all,

thanks for the comments guys, I've been so busy lately with thumbnailing and storyboarding for this project i'm working on, soon i'll be animating on it so i'll be really busy for a bit.

I'll post when i'm done everything.

till then i've scanned some more life drawings, the poses range from 30sec-5mins and two doodles of some people i drew.

Can't forget Avatar!

Wow so i've scanned a bit of everything in this post, thanks to everyone for commenting on other posts, its great to see your comments and thoughts!

I've done a bit more Copic work, as well as some doodles from my pad, and get this:LIFEDRAWINGS! yeah that's right, i haven't posted any of those i think since i first started this blog, I've been going as of last week to get back into the swing of things, I'm lucky enough that the film school lets me and other grads come back for classes for free, so my drawings are super sucky and rusty, but hopefully after a few more weeks i can see some improvement, i go about 4 classes a week.

I'll try and post some of the less crappy drawings from classes for myself to track my progess.

Hey i just came to watch you jerks do your jerkbending..

The title is from the newest episode of Avatar, i like how the voice actor for this character was able to bring so much personality to it, Sokka's character for sure grew into a more important character as the series have gone on, as well as saying funny things.
I think its a great series with lots of detail and small things put it, the background and FX animation are really good for what is a TV show, it's aimed for kids but i find lots of people like watching it, it'd be nice to see more shows of this nature on TV.

Hey all,

just a marker quickie, the BG is not mine, i google searched it, you can find it if you type graffti.

For most group shot drawings i try and think of a "mini-story" for the drawing to help create character and emotion, in this case i imagined the guy had grafftied the wall and the girl was almost mad at him while he seems casual about it.

I think this helps me when i do this type of thing because i can get a real sense of whose my characters are.

Sociopath rough pages

So i finally scanned a few pages of the comic i'm working on, its called sociopath and its written by Axel Matfin ( his link is the section) these 3 pages are taken near the middle-end part of the comic.

the first page is the first picture going left to right ( it might be a bit confusing)

since its a rough stage i haven't added text or much detail yet, i also need to tighten up some of the drawings.

anyway feel free to leave comments on it etc

So as the title says, its almost an all girlie post, i don't draw them all that often but its all the more reason to do so every so often.
